Pilates Product Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty Coverage

1GKU warrants that its Pilates Reformers and accompanying accessories (collectively referred to as the “Products”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use during the following warranty periods:

  • Reformer Frame: 2 years
  • Accessories & Components: 1 year (springs, straps, handles, wheels, jump boards, boxes, etc.)

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Coverage Details

During the applicable Warranty Period, 1GKU will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective part or product at no cost to the customer. This warranty covers defects associated with normal, intended use of the Products.

This warranty does not cover damages caused by:

  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents
  • Improper assembly, installation, storage, or handling
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Use in commercial or high-volume studio environments (unless stated otherwise)
  • Normal wear and tear, including upholstery aging or cosmetic imperfections
  • Failure to follow safety instructions or maintenance guidelines

Obtaining Warranty Service

To request warranty service, customers must contact 1GKU Customer Support within the Warranty Period and provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photos or videos of the issue
  • Product serial number (if applicable)

1GKU may require the defective product or component to be returned for inspection and verification.

Exclusions and Limitations

The limited warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Upholstery discoloration or age-related changes
  • Damage caused by improper maintenance or cleaning
  • Freight damage not reported within 48 hours
  • Repairs performed by non-authorized personnel
  • Sale or clearance items (unless required by law)

Disclaimer of Consequential Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1GKU shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of training time, or personal injury resulting from use or inability to use the Product.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, certain limitations may not apply.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the region where the Product was purchased. Any disputes related to this warranty will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts in that region.

Severability

If any portion of this warranty is found unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
